The 16th Annual Light up a Life gala is a festive evening with a silent auction, amigo scholarship drive, opportunity drawing, gourmet dinner, video and alumni speaker on the beautiful grounds of Mission San Juan Capistrano.

ENTER TO WIN A 2012 CHEVY VOLT

Named the 2011 Motor Trend Vehicle of the Year, the 2012 Volt is Chevrolet’s new electric vehicle that can also use gas.

$100 for 1 ticket | $500 for 6 tickets

15TH ANNUAL LIGHT UP A LIFE DINNER AUCTION

On September 10, 2011, Taller San Jose hosted 500 guests at its 15th Annual Light up a Life Dinner Auction and raised $515,000 in net income. The events festivities included a vibrant silent auction, delicious meal served by Turnip Rose Elite Catering, and an inspirational program that included student speaker Nolan and a video produced by DGWB Advertising. Bruce Hamlin of Guaranty Chevrolet (2011 Best of Friends Honoree) shared his experiences with Taller San Jose and encouraged event attendees to get involved. Next, bidders got the chance to snag exciting live auction items and sponsor students with $1,000 Amigo scholarships. The night culminated with the grand prize drawing for a 2011 Chevy Volt, donated by Guaranty Chevrolet of Santa Ana.
